"Mushroom" Kingdom Hearts

I plan on working for Square when I grow up. Tetsuya, Nobuo, and all the FF gods will be helping me and I will be helping them. SOMEONE has to plan these things, right? You can expect the RPGMXP game I'm making right now to be sitting on a shelf under Square's name someday, too!

Before you are killed by the realization that those are really big dreams, why not dream smaller? Chances are, Square ain't going to recruit some kid from the USA. Nothing wrong with dreaming small and actually seeing dreams happen instead of being just a fantasy.

And as for the topic: this is a cute idea, but I doubt it will ever happen. I don't think Square really wants to put KH on the Wii, and I don't think Nintendo will ever want to let Sony use their precious Mario. Sonic, however, I may be able to see. XD *imagines Sonic with a keyblade*

The only worlds I see that would work are the Legend of Zelda, and Golden Sun worlds. Imagine, Sora alongside Link and Isaac/or Felix....I'm tickled pink :#

What about Kirby? Not sure if he's a Nintendo character, but he's on the game boy. And Klonoa, too! They'd make great uni-world characters, and the worlds are vast enough.

Even if we can't pass the Mushroom Kingdom's "No Trespassing" sign, the Disney/Final Fantasy thing (as awesome as it is), will become old news if they keep up with it. Even KH3 isn't featuring Disney or FF anymore; it's based solely on the history of Xehanort and the Keyblades.

I'm sure they'll come up with something.


And about my dreams. I'm well aware that Square isn't gonna hire some random nobody (no pun intended). I plan on starting my career as a manga artist. Once my stories are popular enough, they'll become anime. Sooner or later, video games for my stories will be in demand, and that's when I turn to Square for negotiations.

The topic at hand is the discussion of "Mushroom" Kingdom hearts and why or why not it could/couldn't work....

(And I think Kirby's world would work, but where the hell did Klonoa come in? He's not even Nintendo..)

Actually, he is. He has a game on the GBA.

And if (emphasis on IF, Raiju) this isn't a hoax, Square already has Nintendo's precious Mario on agreement to be used. Not to mention the fact that it'll be for the Wii, which is a Nintendo system. They wouldn't be allowed to dress up Mario, give him a Keyblade, and put him in EGM if they didn't already have permission. Even if it was a hoax.

So basically, not only COULD it work, it already IS.

Ever think that EGM hasn't officially announced it was an April Fools joke....because it isn't April Fools yet?

I think the name kills it though...that isnt even a cool name O.o it just makes it sound retarded...but there could be a slight chance of this. They could be making an april fools joke out of an april fools joke..They might be trying to make it sound like one but it really isnt going to be one.

And i could name a couple of places...Mushroom Kingdom, the kirby place, Pokemon, sonic, Pikmin, LOZ, Soul Calibre, the Tales of games, Metroid, I could even see them doing a little Pac-man game, and think of all the Jap. games that wasnt released into the USA that we have never gotten to play.

And anyway? if it is a april fools joke why doesnt someone with RMXP make it?

I think some people are missing the point. if it WAS real (which i'm pretty much doubting) then it would probably feature nintendo only worlds. that automatically throws out Klonoa, Sonic, and Pacman. And when I say Nintendo only worlds, I mean characters and trademarks owned exclusively by Nintendo. (A la characters from Super Smash Bros for example)
