MS Paint Pixel God?

This guy is good but is he as good as the guys that worked on the age of empires series 2D?

AoE 1 and 2 were not done with MS paint..

they were 3D rendered with semi polys and screen captured for certain actions, then ported to an animation reel and pieced together. then compressed into a file of which contained a whole library of adjacent sprites.

He is good, I won't argue that, but it is pretty arrogant for him to call himself a god... he is kinda asking for people to say "TheBlackMarket could kick your ass, mister 'god'." I mean, he does do this very well... but there is nothing all that unique about MS paint that makes it incredibly worse than any other program. Everything I do in Gimp could be done in MS paint in about twice the time. All the program does is make it more convenient.

He's got talent, although it'll take him nowhere apart from a couple internet dudes going "Oh, wow, zomfg how'd you do that?"

I could never do that, if that's what you're all asking. I was overwhelemd; I'd never seen anything like it.

What I WOULD like to see is someone draw one of those super-cool battlebacks from RPGMXP. Those are beautiful.

P.S. Is there a tutorial thread for drawing on the computer? ( and I mean -in general-)

The guy is human, so any good designer here could do as good or even better as him

That was quite impressive, but the fact that he calls himself pixel god is, as other people have said, both incorrect and rather arrogant. I'm impressed with his talent, but I would care more if his attitude weren't "OMG I AM GODLY."
