Well the reason why I asked is because as an artist you know how lame it could be if the artwork is inconsistent throughout the game. Therefore in my opinion its a bit of a hit and miss if you decide to make just a few faces for the game..

a lot of people are working with things where portraits would be useful. for the software that doesn't already support the presence of such portraits in whatever context, there usually already exist scripts that make it possible.
also I like these a lot, bro. your facial construction, shading, and use of colour are just completely top-notch.
it really depends on who's requesting and what they need it for. there's not a lot in the way of communitywise standards -- a lot of people are just making different sorts of games entirely. some people will have faces accompany dialogue and want expressions to go along with it. some people will just want static representations of their characters for a menu or manual or something. it all depends.
