Move event problem

In my move event i have the player following a event in one event, they move to where there supposed and some text i set appears all normal tan after the text the game stops working and freezes
 
You most likely have an atuostart event. After the text, the event loops back to the beginning and the characters try to move again. There's probably something blocking them the second time around, though.

Use a switch or a self-switch to turn it off and you're good.
 
ok well ill explain better i made a move event thats activated by a switch and its an auto start, and than after the chars move in tthat same event the open a switch that gos to a new page with text, than after that theres another switch in that page of the event and its there to stop the event

Your problem can be of many...

You could've moved your event into an event that isnt through (You know step through), .. the event didnt have time to finished moving (Use wait until move completed for that), The event literally can not move.

Infact unless I can see a demo or something I cant really decide what is wrong..


Sometimes it isnt even the move event.. sometimes you have something that cant be done.. which freezes.. Like a script or something.. Try taking things out and redoing them to see what's the problem.

Brosek, do you mean you have 2 events and player? 1 NPC, and the other the event that controls everything? Confusing really.

Think of it this way.. move event doesnt discriminate between players and events. So if an event moves into a solid event .. or cant be moved further.. even with the ignore if cant move option (Somehow).. then the whole game freezes. That scenario is very annoying because you'll have to sift through alot of potential problems, though sometimes its as simple as turning Through on. The point is.. when something cant complete itself in auto start.. in fact in any long dialogue and series of event commands.. it freezes the game.
