Mountain/Tree autotile question

Is there anyway to make it so you can have the "desert mountains" on the grass tile or the grass tree on the mountain tile? I was going to edit the tileset, but noticed they were already transparent backgrounds on the tree/mountain autotiles themselves. So, why do they show up in the program with a grass/desert/mountain/snow background?

read my turorial of tileset understanding in Tile A2 its transparent but it creates a non transparent tile dependind on the tile u use

there is a non transparent autotile linked to the next two, when you use the transparent autotiles the linked autotile is linked and automatically used, you can change the autotile for a non transparent tile with the desired background
