Yeah he's probably talking about JACK. I don't hate Raiden, he was a relatively bearable character, if a little whiny. I didn't really like the whole 'I'M A CLOSET MURDERER' story either. I dunno, I didn't hate Raiden, I hated his girlfriend. *gun battle with crazy vampire immortal* *BEEP BEEP* "RAIDEN DO YOU KNOW WHAT TODAY IS?!" "What I'm busy! Trying to stay alive!" I think he's talking about the MGS2 Raiden too. Mortal Kombat's Raiden was just plain awesome.

Yeah, MGS2 Raiden blew chunks. So did just about everyone in Chrono Cross.

I also really disliked the idea of the Aeris-Cloud-Tifa triangle. I hated how Cloud could never really choose who he wanted to be with and I feel really bad for Tifa. He still can't get his feelings straight even after Advent Children.

Here's something interesting though -

At the part where Cloud sends everyone off to decide if they want to continue in the journey, towards the end of the game, where only he and Tifa stay behind, if you have enough "love points" with Tifa then it implies overtly that Cloud and Tifa had sex on that hilltop - and that everyone watched! I thought that was hilarious

I'm still trying to figure out who my most hated character is though... I keep coming back to chaos from Xenosaga, but I don't really HATE him all that much.

Although, Master Chief, the 8-foot-tall genitically engineered moto-cross racer pisses me off to a fair degree.

If it's for RPGs, I dislike Lexis' in Lufia 2... he's just unnecessary in the battles and IMO the only downpoint of the game, though he has a good appearance in the rest of the game.

If it's for all games, it'd be Yuffie... I dislike her girlie style somehow... she's way too infantile and getting-nervey...

I agree on Luke there. He started out GREAT, with a very interesting attitude that you don't see in many RPGs today, but then he became cookie cutter overnight. Sure, he had reason to, I mean...

Sure, destroying an entire city that's already dying from the Miasma, then watching the one survivor, a kid, sink into the mantle of the earth is depressing

But he became...beyond the realm of cliches. He became Cloud in a sense :-/ Though he still wins awsome points for kicking Mieu around like a soccer ball.
