Monkeydlu's Sprite gallery [Open for Icons]

hmmm..i was wondering if you could take this pic and turn the character into a sprite. it doesnt have to be VERY fancy, i just want something that slightly matches..the purple and black robes, with lightningpulsing shoulders..or,...something like that.. im using rpgmakerxp, and its ok if you cant, im really a noob with this, i like got rpgmakerxp 2 days ago and are trying to make a cool game.

no school today and not really any work other than wait for the things to be done by others.... (world map from seth, menu script from alpha, avion battler from skie, battle script from jimmyly) lol, I don't do crap.

Animated the down direction of Caro's sprite, surprisingly, this was waaaaay harder than I thought it would be.

I think I got it where I like the legs now though, the skinier effect is hard to control >_>

The sprite for the contest entry is looking pretty good, but you may want to pick colors that are a little less saturated.  You might want to pick a temperature, such as cool or warm, and pick your colors to match.  Right now, it seems you're using pure/primary shades of color which can be a little tough on the eyes and jarring.  The vest could use a little more shading in the interior to give it more volume and to avoid the pillow shaded look.  With just a little bit of effort, I think you can really increase the quality of the sprite.

hm.. yeah, I really need to learn and improve my style to fit larger templates better, I'm to used to only spriting on very small scales, don't know how to shade at all >_>

anyways, I'm not dead.... just way to addicted to my ps2 right now... D:

ahhh, I feel so lazy, I've been doing nothing except school, watch anime, and playing Disgaea (wow this game is great >_> I'm almost done beating it and I started it last weekend, lol)

I'll try and get some work done over the week for sure ^_~ if not the illumia sprite, the Dolby sprite for sure since it's easier XD (well, try anyways >_>)

and thanks for the offer fikan, but I sprite really just to practice, so I should be good :P

anyways, I should be able to get some work done once I can get my steam back for rmxp (that is to say, when the scirpt problems of my game gets fixed and I can release it and get some feed back >_>)

would you accept requests for animated battlers, like spritesheets used in Minkoff's Animated Battlers script? The spritesheet uses 11 'poses' as opposed to the default 4 for XP charsets
