MOG Menu-XAS Abs Hotkey problem

I'm using XAS Hero Edition Battle system and I need to be able to equip hot keys on the menu, but since I wanted a nice looking menu I want to also use MOG's custom menu scripts. But, when I install all of the menu scripts it won't let me assign any hot keys.I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to make the hotkeys work or if someone could edit the scripts to make them work.

the only ones that have anything to do with this are
XAS Hero Edition ABS
Scene Item
Scene Skill

If anyone could help, even with just one of the scripts it would help SO much.

No, what I need to do is to set the hotkeys for skills and items. It won't let me do that from the menu so I can't use any skills or items at all. It works fine normally just not with the new menus.
