wow, I really enjoyed the plot and characters there, it seems very good! :D

Though, looking at the screenshots, the maps and rtp almost makes it unfair how good this project could be but won't look it, but your going to get new tilesets, so that should fix things, I'd also recommend you get a custom spriter becuase a plot and game like this just deserves it.

wow this looks really good and I also like your title screen though for some reason it reminds me of chrono trigger @_@.

and I agree with monkey this plot is definitely deserving of custom sprites, anyways keep up the good work :thumb:

The funny thing is, until I came to this site, I thought the RTP was good. XDD

Anyway, Memory has an awesome custom sprite artist, Boon. Most screenshots shown are actually just shots I threw together a zillion updates ago before Boon came in with the Breeze style, way back when I was still planning on using the RTP. XD

Y'know, I've never played Chrono Trigger, although I sense I should. Well, maybe after making Memory so I don't accidentally mix storylines. XD

Oh yeah, I might as well mention this in this topic, but I'll be gone all next week. I'm going out of state on vacation and I don't know if Wi-Fi will be available anywhere nearby. If worst comes to worst, I can camp out in a coffee shop for internet, but I'm probably gonna be really busy. So, no updates next week, since I won't be anywhere near a scanner or even RMXP. x_x

I'm back! And so we begin working feverishly on Memory once again! Unfortunately, I didn't as much done on my 'vacation' as I had hoped. Between traveling the entire Oregon coastline and getting sick (Ohmigoshsoverysick T_T) I didn't have much time. And then the place we stayed in had no Wi-Fi...O_o

As for actual Memory news...Right now, I'm working on the battle animations for Moses's summoning skills. There's six planned and one and a half are sketched out already. I've also made a wallpaper (Bound to be redesigned in short notice since I kinda dun like it) which you can find at the website or here (or here for an 800x600 version) featuring Shay and one of the later dungeons. Okay, the wallpaper's been around for a while. I just haven't posted it here. XD

Aaand...that's about it. Here I am. Yay. XD

Shay? And Ed? *glances between the two* ....He does? O_o? I can see some similarities if I look real hard, but...Now that I think about it, they do have one thing in common. Sort of. Inversely. Ed hates being called short and Shay hates being called scrawny. Meh. I dunno what I'm even talking about, sorry. XD

I got another summoning battle animation sketched out! As usual, it turned out almost completely different, but for the better. I'll try and get both sketches scanned in today and I'll steal back my tablet pen so I can get them colored and everything else. ^^

This game seems Very promising. :smile:
One thing though;
Makes sure(since you are using the RTAB) your battles aren't the: mash on attack for a few turns then heal type...
cuz that tends to rear its ugly head alot,
in an RTAB game.
But nevertheless...
