Megaman Chaos

I'm not comprehending how this works.

Seeing as in the canon Megaman timeline this is the order of events generally:

Megaman---> Megaman X ---> Megaman Zero ----> Megaman.EXE, etc.

HOW is it that they're all jumbled up together?

Also, is that..... KOS-MOS? o_o

if that is your time then it is wrong. It goes Network, Classic, Starfoce, X, Zero, ZX, Legends

None of the series are released in order.

There are so many things that hinder this project. The only good thing I would say is that you've neatly ripped graphics so they actually look pretty well in the default battle system, but other than that, there a plethora of thigns that need some SERIOUS serious work. For example:

"Franklin Xtremeist"?

Actually using the term "Xtreme" is enough for me to pass this up. The word is spelled "Extreme", and a more proper spelling for your group should be "Franklin Extremists". It looks a LOT more professional than "omg xtreeeeeme!!!".

I don't have the energy (or time for that matter) to go through every single one of your chapters, but from what I've skimmed through so far, I really think that you need to focus on one part at a time and really flesh them out instead of bombarding everyone with EVERYTHING. Sorry to say, but this sounds like a horrible fanfic gone awry. Another thing that I noticed:

All of the heroes are revived/resurrected out of nowhere? You should really ellaborate on that.

Y'see, it's one thing to have some story you made up and try to make a project out of it, but when you use something that already has a story and a fanbase and you mesh them this chaotically, it really looks bad.

Hope you take this into consideration.

Oh really?? Well seeing as the ending in Bass' storyline in Megaman the Fighters 2 foreshadows Zero's creation, I think I'm relatively accurate, but hey, it's your game.

let's not have a big angry canon-fight, okay? Nintendo and Capcom pay no attention to canon aside from loose cameos (LOL ITSA SERVBOT,) so trying to arrange them in order is pretty pointless anyway.

...

(I always thought that Battle Network was kind of an alternate-universe deal or something)

er I mean

you have a lot in the way of story (it's really messy but hey props for planning it out at least) but you're giving us bupkis in regard to your characters. surely you can give us more information than "X has a heart of gold?" and why are there four megamans? this is something that you should probably flesh out a little more, since in the series itself everyone from Megaman is dead by Megaman X and Battle Network and Legends and the other stuff doesn't really fit in any way at all -- people who've played any of the games would find it a little hard to swallow that the four subseries have suddenly been mashed together.

and how exactly do your chapters work? are there really 20-odd planned installations of the series, or is this just an incredibly exhaustive backstory?

That is right about zero who is in the X and Zero series. The problem with your timeline is that Network comes after zero and that is wrong. Dr. Wily is not even born yet.

Did you honest read my story atleast vol 1? It explains how the heros are back. In the megaman games Extreme is spelled Xtreme that is why the other playable unite is called the Franklin Xtremeist. I've have a lot of megaman games and they never spell it extreme.

I'm not throwing everything out there of the story. The volumes gives some information about the volumes. There is a lot more drama, action, and major parts of the story.

I'm not trying to be mean about your review but I honestly don't think you read one bit of it.

In the megaman games Extreme is spelled Xtreme

so the word extreme is now permanently xtreme? if I'm megaman and I look in the dictionary for the word "extreme" I have to look under X?

the gameboy megaman x games were made in the mid-90s I think? back then people were always trying to capitalize on grungy adrenaline culture, and the fact that it tied in with the main character's name made it an obvious choice. more recent uses are probably just because of poor translation or character limits (capcom didn't learn variable-width fonts until the PS2 came out.) "xtreme" is an incredibly awkward word to see used seriously, since it feels so cheap by this point that I can't take it at face value anymore. "xtremists" sounds more like a bunch of teenage bikers than whatever Franklin is. it's an incredibly awkward way to spell it, and I think you'd wind up with a more convincing effort if you just spelled it the old way without the extra effort made to look cool.

Theses volumes just give some background info on the next 25 chapters.(each volume has 25 chapters)

I know there is a lot of volumes but if the story is read you could understand what is going on. I don't expect you to read them all but a few. These events will lead to the second game which I'm just working on its' storyline at the moment.

I will post more character info at a later time!

While I'm just trying to keep it megaman style in my story. The Megaman Xtreme games was made in 2000 and the other was in 01. The Megaman Zero series also spell it Xtremeist when the government was referring to Zero and his group.

What? If you read the later volumes those series's bosses area also in the game. Every series got a part except starforce and that is for the second game. There are also made up characters that will be posted later.
