Whaa? I never saw an NES cart go for 100 bucks retail. Some of the SNES carts did retail pretty high, especially on limited second runs for RPGs. I do remember seeing FFIV at K-Mart for $70 (and being PISSED because I wanted it but couldn't afford that, ended up buying Super Metroid which was totally worth it but fucking 70 bucks was a LOT of money for a kid who didn't get allowance argh).

Burn them? And heaven only knows that someone at Capcom knew this was going to happen by making the first female robot master. Rule 34 is sick and messed up. On another note I -really- need to get this game.

So for the game that FINALLY bridges Megaman 8 to Megaman X, they decided to make it NES style in terms of graphics and controls and music and (most importantly) difficulty.  They even made the boxart for it like the old shitty megaman NES box arts it's so cool.  It's a GREAT GODDAMN GAME and even though it was released on wii first they have since ported it to Ps3 and 360 so you really have no excuse for not owning one of the best games to come out in years.  (They also released a limited edition version that runs on the NES - yes, they made a NES cart of megaman 9 :x)

That is wrong. MegaMan 8 does not bridge anything to MegaMan X. There was nothing in the story that is linked to the X Series.

I wished they did have a different story for 9, that bridge the series.

He was saying that 9 bridges the gap between 8 and X. Although I didn't really follow the story enough to know if that is true or not. Was really just trying to get achievements.

That is not true. MegaMan 9 does not bridgest a gap between 8 and X. It had nothing linking to the X series.

X serie is 100 (I think) years later Megaman serie. It's like 2 different worlds.

I'd like to play MM9 anyways... looks pretty cool. I've played MM2,3,4 when I was young (on the NES), I've played since the whole serie with Megaman Aniversary collection on PS2 and 5 and 6 are pretty cool actually. 7 on Snes never attracted me, I try a couple of minutes on a rom but don't like it. I hated the 8 : too childish for a MM imo. I love cute game like Pokemon or others but don't want a MM like this. (The 7 was the very limit).

For now the only purpose for me getting a Wii is getting MM9. (Maybe Mario Kart and Mario Galaxy too).

The musics are awesome, graphics cool and I got some good hope in the level design for sure !

Megaman 9 is fucking fun *_*
first time through is hard as hell because Capcom likes to make ur hands bleed
but after u beat it once you pwn every boss stage and boss easily :]
