Max party in battle help.

I want a max of 3 party member in battle mode at all time(Like FFVII/FFVIII). How can I make this happen? What part of the script should I be looking at?

Well the default is four in battle but I want three.

What arbiter is asking is if you want a cap on your party outside of battles before even entering them, like in the menu. If you put a hard cap of three on the size of your party, never allowing more than three people to be in the party at once, you won't have to touch scene battle at all.

I don't quite get it. What I want is like FFVII and FFVIII, 8 party member/Playable characters but only 3 in menu and battle at a time.

Fomar0153's Large Party script (version #2 I edited) allows you to restrict your party to sizes below 4 as long as you follow the instructions within. It points out in the 1st part of the 2-part script that you will need to edit/delete the lines that force battlers into all 4 slots of your battle party (examples 'n all). The system will take it from there.

After that, you just need a compatible party changing system that can hold your remaining members.
