Very rarely do I draw anything that isn't sequential... I happen to have a few on hand so I just wanted to share them with you guys!

Don't know where I was going with this shot. I think I was going to make the tree limbs like tentacle arms or kick-ass action missiles or something but forgot so they look all weird and stupid

Remember in the 50s how every cartoon animal smoked a cigar and wore gloves?  Well, I don't.  I was born in the 80s.  But here's a picture anyways.

Angry Black Guy, a self portrait.  I like the minimalist approach to the lighting and how the eyes vaguely curve below the sloping, neanderthal-like brow.

I was constipated.  In the time it took me to dump, I managed to draw this comic strip.  The quality and content are befitting the settings it was drawn in!

I was on a really long (like, 45 minutes) bus ride to Seattle and happened to have my laptop and tablet ready.  Let's just say drawing on a bumpy ass buss doesn't improve your linework or coloring but I work with what I can get.

I came up with this little comic in 10 minutes as an inside joke for 4chan users (especially /c/).  Basically, we always rag on ctrl+alt+del webcomic because Tim B^Uckley (or Tim Fuckley) can't write for shit, his comics always have a throwaway panel, and his characters are poorly drawn with a horribly generic B^U face.  There was one comic where his character was falling out of a window and his body was blurred to show motion... AND HIS EYES WERE STILL HALF CLOSED.  So yeah, this goes out to all the tools who enjoy that generic crap.

note: the final sentence that the generic cartoon guy says is an EXACT quote from one of CAD's punchlines.  Just want you to know that.

Seriously, though, I like the use of cross-hatching. I've hardly ever seen it employed well.

I especially like the fifth from the top. I dunno why. I guess I have a thing for smiling hills, and giant tentacled pustules.

Sometimes I see crazy ass shit like purple bunnies puking, or giant tentacle-monsters, or drawings of people with crazy eyes/facial expressions, and I wonder what the artist is like who did them.

If you didn't in fact notice, Penny-Arcade, the wildly more successful, does that whole face thing.
Even web toons like Bonus Stage and My God Robots do that whole spiel. Whats wrong with it? Further more and in fact, almost every cartoony art style is just that way, because thats what a face looks like.

I prefer it to stick figures thats for sure, although xkcd (http://xkcd.com/) pulls it off juuust fine. But then you have to be utterly brilliant.

Even web toons like Bonus Stage and My God Robots do that whole spiel. Whats wrong with it? Further more and in fact, almost every cartoony art style is just that way, because thats what a face looks like.

Except all those comics are actually well written and funny.  Control+Alt+Delete is like... recycled garbage with stale story lines, horrible punchlines, and every comic has A COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY PANEL.  Timing is everything in comic strips and CAD could be done with 3 panels (the extra panel actually ruins the joke).  As far as his B^U goes, CAD's faces are ALWAYS the same; half closed eyes with a U mouth.  Other webcomics actually use some, you know, variety.

Good point, but I wasn't talking about the script (which I did acknowledge, saying P-A = Bettorz). But good catch on variety.
