Making multiple events move at once...

..sorry, I knew how to do this is the oldschool playstation rpg maker but it's escaping me now. Can someone tell me how to make multiple events move simultaneously?

For instance, two npc guards charging at the player character together?

Thanks a lot!

I use VX.  All I do is make a blank autorun event somewhere and then 2 events with guard graphics.  In the autorun event put both Guard1 and Guard2 move routes but in the first move route uncheck 'Wait for completion.'  If there were three guards you would uncheck the first two, and so on and so forth.  This will make them move at the same time.

If you use XP I am not sure if it works the same way because I've never used XP before!

Yep, using VX.

Ah, so as long as wait for completion is unchecked, I should've thought of that!

Thanks a lot!

Wow, so I'm not the only one who started with the Playstation games.  I used RPG Maker 2 first, but for some reason I wasn't able to increase experience, which was a huge problem.  But yeah, just uncheck the Wait for move's completion and it'll work fine.
