Magnus' Chibi Battlechar Thread

Hi there!  I've decided to post my battle characters here until I get enough of them to make a page on my website for.  Most of these will be based on preexisting charasets, and, of course, the makers of the charasets will be credited for their designs.  ^_^  And, of course, I'll be doing the RTP charas too.

Feel free to use in your game, but please give me credit.  (Magnus Vale or a link to my website magnusvale.com would be good.  ^_^)

Your work on the faces and hair is pretty solid and seem to be your strong point.  However, you may want to brush up on your anatomy and proportions.  The first battler has some issues.  The pose is a little awkward and unbalanced and the proportions are off.  The second battler is a stronger piece and has a more balanced pose. 

Check out some anatomy and figure drawing tutorials online.  Looking at other established artists and how they approach figures is helpful, too.  A great book I'd recommend is Dynamic Figure Drawing by Burne Hogarth.  Just keep practicing and sketching, and you'll be well on your way.

Thank you.  I shall do my best to work on poses.  I might go back and work on that character later, but it still looks decent enough, so I'm going to leave it for now.
