Welcome to my laboratory of mixed arts! I'll be posting art, literature, music (when I can finally post a good piece! xD) and more literature like stuff (non-fiction work). The reason I put this here is because it won't just be sprites I'll be posting. I think most of what I'll be updating with are sketches, ideas, music samples, literature, and some other written work. I might also post tutorials, if I ever make them :lol:

Everything I make will be neatly (as I can get it) put away under spoiler tags of categories so that if I ever update this on a massive scale, I'll know where to go to look at some of my art, or even my viewers.

Sorry it took me so long to notice this! Since it's just the one piece and I'm terrible at fantasy creatures anyway, I can just give you very vague advice - be more confident with your strokes. I know it's not a finished piece or anything but when you use so many short little strokes it makes the whole thing look very sketchy and uneven. When you start using more solid lines and being more comfortable with your lineart, I think you'll find everything looks a lot better.

I was a little iffy sketching with a tablet, first time. :blush: The pen stroke seemed too thick no matter what and it was irritating me. I'm gonna keep at it though and hopefully improve! :3

I understand, it took me sooo long to be able to make ANYTHING with a tablet, so you're doing so much better than me. All I can say is practice practice allll the time no matter how discouraged you feel, you gotta push through it. When you're first using a tablet the learning curve can be so steep it's not even funny depending on how accustomed you are to traditional art.

I've been paper + pencil since I was 5, so this is a bit hard to get the hang of. When drawing straight lines, it sometimes becomes a left-straight line or doesn't even make a straight line at all. >.>

Anatomy is a bit tricky for me though. I always erased at least ten times and redo until it resembles something realistic xD I wish I had more anatomy books of dragons lol

I'm gonna start again and post what I got ^.^

So, working on a new found love of mine! I stupidly followed the tutorial TOO much and did the same size as the creator and ended up loving what I have so far. But now its soo tiny... :smile:

What do you guys think? It isn't finished. I really wish I made it bigger, as it would look better. But here is an update.

So I decided to search the internet on learning about latitude Biomes (?) etc etc and I came across this PDF tutorial, which I'm reading now.I want this world to be big, I know that, and snowy but I want it to be believable so I took to learn about this. Anyways, if its allowed, here is the first step is has me doing -- squeezing the land masses together like a puzzle! :3

I realize that you see complete cutoffs for the west, eastern and southern parts in this screenshot. I am building the rest of the world right now. But I will link to a general blog-form of what it should look like, if its needed which it most likely is. :P

Resolution? That is the size of the image, right? If so, Tinypic wouldn't allow me to upload bigger qualities of the image so I had to downgrade the screenshot to upload

Decided to remake a character in my game. She was originally the first sprite I ever made and the hair looked a little weird (see here), but I think it looks better now....?

I think the lighting on the bangs looks a bit weird, but what do you guys think? :blush:
