Lost- Season 4

So let's talk about episode 1-4. Before Episode 5. Then once it's watched, then talk about it, you know the drill. NO SPOILERS. Unless you already seen it, you can go like this:

lost is....m-my favorite show

Having watched all of the first three seasons online in about three weeks, watching like ten or so episodes a day on some weekends, the sudden transition to having to wait a week between episodes is HORRIBLE for me.

Favorite character is Sawyer, followed by Hurley, then Ben, and then Jin or Desmond. Mr. Eko was also my favorite for a while, but he's not around any more. Without the two of them (Sawyer and Hurley), the show really wouldn't be the same. I hate Jack and don't like Kate, although the both of them have become a lot more likable since the Hydra Station.

What do we think of the new characters? Miles is pretty cool, Charlotte annoys the hell out of me, and Dan Faraday is really fucking cool. I can't wait to find out more of his story.

Locke's character has got shitter and shitter through the seasons, everything he does now seems to be completely out of character.

I have to say the Jin/Sun episode wasn't that great.

I was a bit confused about that one. Someone told me it was supposed to be that Jin was in a flashback whilst Sun was in a flash forward, i.e. Jin didn't get off the island or died trying, or something to that effect. But the impression that I got from the episode was that Jin faked his death to get away from Sun and get back to the company... the only trouble with my theory is that after their reconciliation at the end of the episode it seems unlikely that Jin would change back to the company man he was. Maybe his fears that Sun will sleep around again turn him paranoid? Or maybe my friend was right and I'm barking up the wrong tree...

Now we have to wait A MONTH for the next episode!!!!!
But at least we got caught up with Michael. We actually got some damn answers for once.

The death was a let down though, definitely not a big name character.

Karl might be dead, Danielle was just shot, but not dead. I believe Micheal or Claire would be the next death. In the promos, you see a burning house, and you might think Claire is in there, but then omg twist, Sawyer and Hurley had gotten Claire out of there

Apparently it's a Ben-centric flashforward.

Karl is dead because the actor who played him signed on to do other stuff. We'll probably have Danielle's flashback soon - and she'll either die at the end of the episode... or given the way things are going we might even have something that appears to be a flashback.... then she seems to die... but then they reveal that the flashback was a flashforward all along!

The Smoke Monster is coming back, and maybe we'll find out more about Jacob...  It was good in The Constant finally finding out what happened in the Season 2 finale. ^_^
