So yeah just made my first attempt at a logo for my project and was wondering which you prefer and why ^.^;

Working on drawing my towns now, expirmenting with which style to choose which I will make a thread for later.

so yeah there they are. Note: Thes aren't to be confused with my title page but if I go with this design it will be implemented into the title image of course ^.^; These are more so uumm...let's say a 'banner' or something. (Maybe for the forums? But would be shrunken of course ^.^)

My mistake. My big mistake o.o so sorry. Mixed up the forums. Sorry TT.TT Great start Snow, oh yeah we got off on the right foot here...yuuuup...

I'd move the text over to the right just a tad, to give it a bit more balance. I like it-the colours look nice together and it's very simple. I'm not sure it would look good in an RPG game on its own though. The paper gives it a nice background and would probably look better ingame, so I'd go with the first. Depends where you're going to use it, though, and what you'd be using it with.

Well as said it'll probably go into the title screen but also will be used as a banner for my sig/project thread and stuff like that.

And yeah ДГъíтÉГ (so strange ^.^;) the logo is pretty based off the Suikoden one. Though that may be only to start. I was thinking of having the colors have a golden gradiant instead of blue but it didn't look right. I'll play more with it later ^.^;

And thanks for the input Dadevster ♥

Thats pretty good man, i like it. The only thing i could suggest to improve it slightly is to make the kanji more bold and sharp, rather than that kinda brushed look. Oh, and I prefer the one without the parchment paper behind it. I can already picture it fading in on screen during the intro... anyways! good work. :thumb:

I agree with syphonshadow dealing with the kana, but he also gave me a thought. Maybe you could make the kana way sloppy, like a real brush is making the strokes (dry brush almost). To wrap up what I'm saying, try the kana way messy or match it to the style of the font above it.
