Logo feedback, anyone?

Hey all, I just made a logo in around 20minutes. I like it, it's okay. I just want to get some critique. :\
Note, the gray background is NOT final. It's just used to see if there are jagged-lines.
(If this is in wrong area, sorry in advance. Seemed like the most logical place.)

@ sonata: thats hardly backseat modding; hes trying to be helpful. its really actually quite amusing that you cant see the irony of what you just said.

@ Ikos: try using the stroke feature, assuming your using an advanced image editing program. It can give your text and background image a nice bold (or thin) outline that looks professional.

nick, it's more that he made the post solely with the intent of publicly saying what ikos did wrong, notice how he offered no real criticism. Also he's done this all over the forum.

It's very final fantasy. I immediately thougt of that game when I saw it and that's not exactly good if it's a logo for your own unique product/game/anything.

Other than that it could look a lot better with some texture or shading, no?

The text is also a little hard to read at first, perhaps a different font may help. It's unique, and I like that, but it's hard to read it when half the letters have blank spaces in them.

Also, as previously mentioned, some extra effects such as shadows may help bring it out more and make it seem less flat.

I actually kind of like it.  Save for the temporary grey background.  It looks real good.

BUT!  It kinda reminds me of a certain Square RPG game....I dunno...It has a "Final" in it....


Yeah, anywho, it looks WAY too similar, especially for anything that's commercial (I dont think you're doing anything commercial)
and would probably bring a few FF trolls.

keep up the good work, though.

Also at Sonata:  I dont think he's backseat modding on purpose.  He dors it alot, yes, but he's jut trying to be helpful.
