You should animate the shadows imo and the walk cycle of the first one is kind of wonky. Not sure how to fix that though.

Fuck your request topic, that's just wasting time.

The quality differs quite a bit. Many monsters look poor compared to some of the other characters for example. Maybe work on a bit simple shading, contrast, and animating. CBA to critique it all though(wouldn't help you either, as I spin a bit ATM). But keep it up.

The poor shading is just a part of the style, I want it to be a little simplistic to mark this style. And the shadows beneath the characters will move along with them in the final products.

a face on my new template,, do you guys think I should go with this one or stick with the old one?? btw the old one is much easier to use, because this one is sprited all the way.

Hmm, I don't quite know how to answer that question.

I think these characters, simple as they are, beat the RTP. Period.

Most of your characters lack shading but for the most part it doesn't matter because the simple character style really matches the cartoony feel of the template =D!

Even so I would suggest adding a bit more shading / color variation to some of the characters you created.

Good job on the faceset too.
