Little case of writer's block... if that's the term for it.

I'm having trouble coming up with a good name for the currency of my game.

I'm inclined to stick with G, but it sounds... boring. Uninspired, even.

I'd appreciate some suggestions for better currency names. It's a fantasy RPG, if that helps.

ummm.... i doubt this will help, but i will try to brainstorm some ideas:

points, cents, dimes, coins, dollars, gold, silver, money, funds, change

and thats all i can think of. Hope it helps

If you want to go simple, you can just call them credits.  I've used punched2death's method a couple of times, too, and that always works good.  I wouldn't worry about it too much, though, unless its a major part of the story.

I tend to like going with more common metal, if all people have the ability to use the currency.  By this I mean, even the poorer farmers and people like that would have enough "money" to afford to bother with the currency.  In this case you might want to use copper pieces or tin pieces.  If only the elite people utilize the currency, then you can go with gold pieces or platinum, or something of that sort.

Hope I helped.
