Nicely done, there are a few things I could say like watch the contrast and saturation but for someone fairly new to spriting you've done a great job.

Maestro's critiques really say it all. But great job and thanks for helping keep the Vex alive =D. Nice to see people still using the old thing!

hmm... the skirt(kilt?) makes no sense in the first direction (down) the animation looks like it's jumping about randomly. it's good though. maybe a version with a sword, and sheild, and quiver and all.

the quiver and such would be a bit much for my taste... at least for now... i thought the bottom tunic part (skirt/kilt) looked pretty ok... but if its that annoying i could try to make it look better... also i thought about putting the leather belt thing on his chest like it is in the game... but i thought that if it was really necesary people would tell/ask me to put it on so... untill then...

The bottom of the tunic is just called lower tunic. its not like hes wearing a kilt or skirt. Like young link is wearing shorts under his tunic. the back of your tunic looks a little wierd. but maybe thats just my messed up eyes. it looks a little bit like its part of the tights on the first and third frame. (link is wearing clothing underneither of his tunic because all a tunic is is an over lying cloth over top of some kind of armour, hince the chain mail in TP)

The white tights look very straight (un leg shape kind of shape) maybe try and curve them a little.
