Lighting Effects Tutorial For RPG Maker XP

If someone knows of a lighting effects tutorial for RPG Maker XP, non-scripted, preferably using Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Fireworks (or any other similar graphics software), I'd gladly appreciated it. Use the following images as references.

I would check out Calibre's and/or Angelman's tutorials on cosmetic lighting. They're quite helpful.
