so are there any fans of what was a great series on here?

any veiws on the not so bad ending?

Great show, and the ending was pretty damn good given what it had to solve. I also liked how it finished the series nicely, but also left it open to a new series if it was ever released. Most shows try it, but seem to either make a following series seem contrived out of what appeared to be solved or end on a cliffhanger which bugs you more.

Still though, I really liked the fact that there was a good old 70s style cop show on TV.

I loved the last episode, watched it 3 times so far (God bless Virgin Central / replay)

They are doing a new one called "Ashes to Ashes" (yes, another Bowie classic ). It's similar to Miami Vice. It'll be crap compared to Life on Mars though, it's set in America

Wyatt I think you're getting mixed up. There's a version of Life On Mars being made for the US which, like all others, is going to be bastardised by being moved to a US location because a huge amount of Americans hate anything not set in the US.

ashes to ashes will be about dci alex - - - - sorry cant remember her last name shes been studying sams notes on 1973 very closely, trying to find out why he didi what he did on the ending. After she is kidnapped, she tries a daring escape but it goes wrong and she ends up in 1981 londo meeting old friends(hunt, ray and chris) who she has dreamt up because of sams case note presumably!
