I personally think that the wholke problem is that some people overreact, and others don't react at all. This toy, like the myriad of working "spy" toys, is a bad idea, period. Yes, I have wanted to eavesdrop on conversations. No, I don't do it. I respect people's privacy, because I realize that it is extremely easy to lost something that fundamental. My parents taught me that it is better to let someone make their own mistakes than to force them to "own up" Take the idea of a white lie as an example. Some say any lie is bad, period. Others, like me, say that if a lie can help, then is can actually be good. Really, the problem here is that some people are calling this the first wave of big brother. Obviously, you haven't watched or read anything on recent events since 1900. Watergate, phone tapping, paparazzi, cell phone cameras, and camera surveilance everywhere, just to name a few examples. (My middle school, in one of the safest areas in southern California, had a security camera to watch the backpacks while kids were in P.E., because there was too much theft) For the people who don't react, they have no idea where they are leading the country. Big Brother is just as bad, or worse, than Nazi Germany or Soviet Russia. (Did you know that more people died of starvation in Russia during the war than the Nazis killed in their camps?)
