Also, I can say that the first floor of the demo is complete. I just have a couple of eventing wrinkles to iron out. Anyway, I've now started work on the second floor, so progress is going much smoother than I had expected it to.
 
Awesome, I wish my project could just go smoothly for once...lol and good luck with ironing out the eventing errors, though one thing, What is the implants system like? I'm curious to know...idk why but I always have a knack for custom character development...
 
All implants are are items that replace shields (in other words, don't give an armor bonus) but give you a boost in one of your abilities (Evasion/Agility, Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Attack Resistance). There are 5 different implants at the moment.

I know there's no Magic Resistance in the list above, but that's because there is going to be NO skills in this. What you've got is what you work with.

So yeah, that's pretty much how it works.
 
Nope. They only give you a bonus when you have them equipped. I think it gives more of a challenge, because then you have to try and figure out what Implant you might need. Also, I forgot to mention, you can have two Implants equipped at a time. (They'll be replacing Helmets AND Shields.)
 
yeah I guess but there are implants for everything right? Maybe if you keep an implant long enough, it leaves the effect on you?
 
Alright! Updates!

1. I've updated the diary entry at the beginning with a date, so as to help people get a feel for the game.

Anyway, just letting people know, but I posted this on the blog on the website. Thought I might as well post it in here.

Well I hate to say it, but the demo of The Victims is going to be delayed. Indefinitely. So far the mapping is coming along well, but due to scripting troubles (You can check the RGSS support forum on RMXP.org to see what I'm talking about.) the demo can not progress any further gameplay wise.

I'm really sorry to anyone who was expecting the demo this week, and would like to say that the sooner that people help out and help me get my problem fixed, the sooner the demo will be released.
 
Yeah. The I recently fixed that problem, though. The demo is back on track, although a finishing date for it is now Mid-October. Late October if we get unlucky.
