Lethal Dusk

I like the concept - although it does seem to be heavily influenced by Resident Evil.

However, your writing style works well - it makes me wish there was more.

Assuming that the Victims look anything like zombies, you'll be doing some sprite requests, I imagine. :D Especially for modern-tilesets.

Yeah, I've already made a request for a battler for the main guy.

I've already found a bunch of modern tilesets though. (Now the hard part is figuring out how they go together and look good. XD)

It is, somewhat, influenced by Resident Evil. I just like the story, but I'm gonna try and stay away from RE plots and ideas. (Besides the whole zombies thing. lol)

And I do think I might be adding more to the story...It seems kinda incomplete if you ask me.

The game sounds good, For some reason, Shadowrunners for the Genesis clicked into my head while reading this... I'll keep an ear out for the demo for this

Thanks!

Also, updates!

1. Added faces for the characters I've got so far!
2. Added a screenshot of the first room!

it looks good, not a complete far cry from RTP, but it's so sparce! I think the mapping needs some fine-tuning, and also you may want to change the green/red glow image on caladron's ABS HUD

EDIT: Darkness is your friend, embrace it!

Yeah, it's kinda hard to fill up that room... (The tileset I used for it is tiny!) I'll probably end up making the room smaller.

And yes, I will eventually be changing the HUD. I'll probably give it a blue and then dark blue colors with some opacity changes. :D

well, i think maybe some more operating tables? giblets/blood? i mean im not putting this down at all, i mean i know its early days and all but im just saying that if you add more depth to the scene and possibly some sort of imitation lighting, this could go far enough visually to match with the story

Also, It looks like the computer tower is on teh far left of the counter, And the monitor(s) are in the middle, I'd hate to have that cording mess, As well, Having to go down just to restart or put in a CD or whatever they do

I'd have to say, I like that one a lot better. Gives it a kinda... Diabolic/Freaky typish touch... As well as a rundown look. Now, What's with the table in the middle? Also, The designation of this room? Looks like a Waiting Room/Exam Room/Doctor's Office kinda thing

It's pretty much the first room you see of the Institution. The Institution is gonna be like a big tutorial type thing, y'know?

But yes, it's kind-of like a doctor's office, but not all the rooms are gonna be like it. :D

And the table...well, I put it there just to take up space. lol

Hmm... Well... Muddy footprints in the top right, How'd they get there? No mud leading to or from there, And put a chair or two at the computer, OMG, Rolly chairs at doctor offices are so fun... Back to what I was saying, A chair would prolly be nice at the computers, It is a tad bit rather big room, You might want to make it 2-3 tiles smaller, Maye you can move the table to the bottom right and put up a wall there with a door, Kinda like a room in a room, For lounging or something, Or conferences

madmax: Like make it darker, or give it a yellowish tint or something?

SoundHyp: That's a good idea! I like it. But yeah, I'll have to agree with you, the muddy footprints doesn't really make much sense. lol! That was just me being stupid. rofl
