Learning Script

Hello.  I'm in the process of learning ruby script, and I would like some help.  If anyone has the time to spare, I would like someone to create a basic HUD (with a picture, character's name, an HP bar, an SP bar, and it should display some random variable).  I don't need this specific HUD for my game; what I would like is if someone could write the script (or use an already made one) and briefly explain how each line works.  I know this may be a lot to ask, but I would be very appreciative if someone would be willing to spend the time to help me.  Thanks in advance!

I believe this is a script request although an attempt to learn is being suggested. So I will do this for ya. Give me some time to put something readable together. :lol:

I already made a HUD using Yeyinde's basic HUD Tutorial, but wanted a picture and the name. So i folowed reives example. Thanks for making it khmp
