LBP @_@

Hey, I've been trying to figure this out. How do you play a level with a buddy on your friends list? I see my friends, and I can visit the levels they make, yet I can't invite them anywhere.

Does it just have to be luck of the draw in just choosing the right level at the same time or something, and hoping no one else joins?

holy fucking shit, that shit is fucking amazing

@_@ jesus!!!!

I mean I'm still trying to make a creature that moves, and this asshole makes a working calculator @_@

They are deleting EVERYTHING with copyright infringement, even if it hints at it in the title.

Gee that game of the year award sure is looking kinda far off there.

I doubt they have too much of a choice with people making levels were xbox360 is the enemy.  I don't see why people really need to use copyrighted things to make a level anyway.

lots of games have to do that. even if it's user-made content, it's other peoples' properties making it into a game whose creators are paying out royalties to no one. it's why city of heroes deletes all characters that look like marvel or DC characters, or who have names similar to marvel or DC characters.

i mean it sucks but you cant blame a company for not wanting to be sued.

and yeah like calibre said, i dont see the allure in making something based on an existing game anyway.

To be fair though...

If I was the creator of that calculator, I wouldn't know whether to feel smart and happy or embarrassed and regretful.

Oh shit, DO WANT. Bad that i dont have a PS3 (it's too fucking expensive dammit, 360 is only 179€, why PS3 have to be 399€?)

Also i couldn't play this anyways because highschool is pissing me off with homeworks and shit like that :)

Just got this a few days ago myself and I literally cant get off it.  It;s too goddamn addictive.    I never honestly thought the whole thing would gel as well as it did.  Sure I knew it was going to WOW innovative sackboy WOW etc but the gameplay and levels the further you get on are great and its true old skool platforming in really unique ways.

Every levels offers tons of unlockables and some can be pretty hard to find.  The teamwork hidden parts can especially get hard... (i hit by brother on several occasions).

With like just 2 buttons this reminds me of how simplr but great games can be, I honestly don't think it's overrated either.  The first few worlds are easy as hell but it starts picking up the deeper you get.

I beat it in about 10 hours but I was REALLY taking my time and trying to get all the powerups. But once you're done doing that, you've unlocked everything you need to actually build all your own levels @_@

and let me tell you you can play some CRAZY ass levels. Some people put SERIOUS work into them. A few of them I've played are better than the ones made by the developers!!!

It's one of those games where you will want to 100% every level.  So there's basic completion.  Then Find all hidden items which are between 50 and 80 per stage.  There's also complete the level without dying once rewards.  There's highscores (though I think these are flawed to be honest).  There are also loads of minigames you can unlock called survival challenges but I think the only benefit  to them is just for an online leaderboard.

There are also areas as I said where if you want all the rewards you need to play coop with 2 sometimes 4 people for coop puzzles.  Then theres just the enjoyment of playing it again.

Played it today  :grin:
It was really cool and all but one thing BOTHERS me: the controls
God I hate them, they are really horrible! :sad: (imo)

Me and My cousin beat it in a day. Its the best game i've played in a long time. We have over 85% on each level, and most of them are 100%'s. We did the multiplayer ones (Including the x4) that we found, so we have basically everything. We just need to re-do the levels that we don't have because most of the reasons were because we didn't have the right stickers for the sticker switches.

Also, If you play people's levels that they have made, Sometimes they give you stuff that they made in the level. There is this one level that is really, really hard. I don't remeber the make of it, but it is like something castle, or ninja warrior...Something. All I know is that it is hard and there is a scarecrow type thing at the beginning with a tiger face on it oo;

I was in the middle of making a Up-right walking machine when i had to go. I have the cockpit and one leg made. Other things i have made is a bird that you can actually control, and a motocycle that has a huge knife on the front of it, like a bayonet.

They weren't hard... just feeling akward and stiff...
But like I said it is just my opinion (and my brother's)
Edit:

huh??? the controls are the same as any NES game from 1988, I don't see how anyone could have a hard time with them.
I know, but the three dimensional control felt strange.
But yeah I couldn't play too much. (not enough to get used to the controls)
