LAN Games in RMXP?

Not entirely sure whether this is the right place, but hear me out anyways.

So I'm a big fan of co-op games, or just multiplayer for that matter. Though, I'm more keen on LAN parties or playing over Hamachi to simulate LAN. My question to you experts is whether it's possible to create a LAN co-op game in RMXP? A game with an ABS that can have probably four people/friends playing together over LAN?

I think in LAN is not possible, but you can use a netplay engine to VX or XP to play online, so you can call your friends. In brazil we have a neplay caled X NP created by Anderson Porto, it's simple and perfect for create a online game like a lan game. If you don't understand portuguese, you can search for another netplay on HB Games.

Well I have thought about using netplay. But I want a system where there is a limit of 4 players, and that the characters are pre-created, where events affect all four players. Thanks for the suggestion though ^_^.

would that not work in netplay? I want to do something similar and was planning on using N+.
As for only having four players...couldn't you just tell three friends to log into your server?

Another thing is I don't want the need to having to log in. And with N+ can you create events that move any selected players or make certain characters have dialouge?
