'L' and 'R' triggers to escape battle.

The "Fight/Escape" bar in my battle doesn't exist as I use a RTAB system though I want players to be able to escape by simultaneously holding down the L and R buttons (note I said buttons not keys).  Can anyone make a script like that?

How about posting the RTAB system? Also, how would the escaping work? Will players be able to escape immediately, or is there a wait time depending on chance, agi, dex, etc.?

I think he wants it like in Final Fantasy VII where you held done those two buttons to escape a battle.

Exactly, it's like the one in Final Fantasy 7.  I'm using Cogwheel's RTAB system and the wait is as normal but this thread was made for the possibility of using the L and R buttons to Flee instead of selecting the Flee command I have on my battle window.
