KOTOR MMO

Is anyone else as interested as i am to see how well Bioware will go at making an mmo. I've talked to a few people about it and they were worried about the fact that lucas arts and EA are involved but i think that should be fine seems lucas arts was involved with KOTOR1 (which is one of my fav games) and EA... well EA is more of a worry that they will try and release the game to early but as an mmo its not the biggest problem (unless its unfinished as AoC).

Another big problem i can see is the whole Anakin1337!1r3 thing. Basically the problem pretty much every starwars mmo has is that everyone wants to be a jedi, and this ruins the game abit. Hopefully Bioware will make it so that you have to unlock jedi or its limited somehow without ruining the game. Also if they somehow make other classes which are just too awsome to pass up i.e. assassin droid (who wouldn't want to play that seriously).

I'm waiting for a bit of offical info about the game, but that looks to be awhile off still, hopefully not too far off.

Hopefully they will release KOTOR III aswell as an mmo.
personally i really just want to see Biowares attempt, see how they do things and what they will do differently

from what i understand, kotor 3, and the kotor mmo are two seperate games.

I'm so gay for Star Wars, but SWG sucked in my opinion. Seriously - an even passable Star Wars MMO, especially in the old republic setting (Jedi vs Sith player war?) would get my money for at very least a 3 month trial.

But, I would want to be Trix, the Jawa Jedi.

Star Wars Galaxies... I actually remember having a friend who managed to unlock her jedi the CORRECT way when the game was originally released. It was really rare and varied from account to account and all kinds of shit like that. I really miss it sometimes, when it was good. Hell I even remember missing the graphic clipping errors my old computer had with it XD

KOTOR though, that game really had a nice way of introducing the Jedi/Sith stuff, hopefully it is a little more hard to become one than just becoming it over time, like giving us bits of powers instead of powers then they end up taking over instead of guns and vibro-swords and stuff.

Force Gravity+ Force Push+Bridge+lots of players = fun times *evil grin*

I, too, would like to see less emphasis on the Jedi, but I don't think you will see that in a game named after them.
