Hi. I am korean and I have a thing to talk.
It's about forums in korea, and Us forum like RMXP.org.

1. Uploading Files
US : Use file Hosting site outside.
Korea : supports uploading in limited file size.
2. File download speed
US : Max 500 Kb/s
Korea : Max 7000 Kb/s
(just max value, sometimes it can be appear different as i say.)
3. Uploading Image
US : Use Image hosting site outside.
Korean : supports Image Upload, and some sites have no limit.
4. Rules?
US : Very Heavy!
Korean : Light. you'll be very hard to be nucked, and some sites don't nuck members by breaking rules.
5. Resources
US : Sea of resources!
Korean : Normal...
6. Users
US : Skilled Users
Korean : poor skilled users..

ha...well this are thing that I think.
how do you think?

nuck = nuke = destroyed = banned?

And I don't really see how the rules are heavily enforced here. I mean, they do exist for a reason though. No consequences for breaking the rules kind of defeats the purpose....

But its not like "OMG Rule Break your banned"

This has nothing to do with country, it's to do with the individual forums and their software/limits

Also, what is nuck?

Nuck -> Banned

In korean forum, there's no banning. almost.(there's banning. but it happens very very very often.)
well, It's just my thought and I could be wrong.

It's more an international site than US site.

I think the reason there may be more rules, it that there are more users and many from different countries. In addition, due to the large userbase and abundant material available- New users and lurkers may start posting here (I know I did, with the transition to ORG- Not so much anymore), so they may not have "common internet sense".

The download speed may be related to the hosting, or to conserve bandwith- It's a pretty big site.
Abundance of skilled users is related to the masses. When something is available in mass quantity there's always something in that which is of higher quality. Of course, there's also the benefit of tutorials and hardwork.

who the fuck cares

seriously i dont see a point to this thread, are you trying to discuss "Why are there are differances?", or just "LOL HEY LOOK FACTS"?

Im really not sure :(

also if you arent banning then you must have some pretty awesome members or pretty terrible rules

I don't understand the point of this thread. Are you saying we should all ... Move to Korea, or something??? I don't get it.

If this continues not to have a point, I'm locking it.
