I think it's only in Japanese, so it's not like it'd matter too much, right? Also it's for RPGM95 which I've found I cannot get to work on my Vista (though I can get 2k3 and XP)...

You have a point, but people have tried this kind of stuff numerous times in the past (continuation less common than aside, but still)--what're they called, fangames? Because they obviously can't be the original creators... (and w/action game maker coming, this kind of stuff may increase still)

I kinda cant ask permisson. I don't speak japanese and the resources came with a free sample game for RMXP. So I dont really think I need permission, just give credit.

Maybe you should put a disclaimer in your game and in this thread stating that this isn't a official KNight-Blade game.
I've never played 1 or 2. You could take "3" out of title and just call it "KNight-Blade: The Final Mech War". That way if there ever was a true 3rd game people wouldn't get them mixed up.

There was that mech looking game when VX first came out. In the trailers and stuff. Was that a different game?

Yeah it was a different game. =/ They kinda stopped making KNight-Blade after the first two were made.

Wrong, they are working on a KNB still yet. Its just a matter of time when its done. How ever, i suggest you to follow coyotecraft's suggestion to avoid any possible trouble or so. As you arent doing the original KNB, the "3" should be gone as it may mess things up.

And if not 3, maybe 2.5 or 3.5... okay, maybe not... how about, "KN-B Unofficial 3: TFMW"?...

It doesn't matter what he calls it, this is a fangame, like a Bleach fangame, or a Final Fantasy fangame. The company isn't gonna care if you make a fangame, it's not like they sell KNight Blade anyway.

That's been said WAY too many times.

Just lose the 3 and you'll be fine.

Also, I think it'd be a good idea if the Mechs werent as big as the RTP people.  Try making them bigger, cuz right now they look like androids than piloted mechs.
