Long ago, the man they called Lucid cast an Oasis Shadow upon our world turning everything it touched into soulless beings. Our town, named Nuntuk, was cast into utter chaos when the shadows finally reached us. My brother was but the first to be consumed…

It all started when Lucid’s family was killed. His wife and daughter were killed in a sandstorm years ago. Lucid’s life was totally ripped from him. He left his small town in hope of a new life. Well, he found it…

Lucid sought refuge in a nearby cave and lived a good life according to his journal that was found. He had left the terrible news behind him. But one day, Lucid could not sleep. His dreams became wild. He became completely insane. Many nights later, he was awoken to an extremely bright figure which told him he could become something more. Nothing else was recorded in the journal. This is when it all started…

Nuntuk was completely consumed. Nothing was left but my father and I. We fought these soulless creatures we once called our friend’s until we had nothing left. Our counterattack was going well, until he showed up. The shadows began to part as Lucid stepped down onto the real world. My father fought Lucid with everything he had. But he proved too powerful to be beaten. He took my father along with my brother and cast them into darkness and in the process, he cast a spell that gave me amnesia…

Several hours later I awoke in the desert. A native approached me and told me all that happened. Hard to believe it but I do remember my father and brother. Everything happened so quickly. But I swear, I will get my father and brother back…

CMS-Custom Menu System
Shadow Points-Shadow points are are your mp
Shadow Skills/Form-New Skills and another form based on shadow points
Crafting of items/weapons/armor
CBS-Custom Battle System
Teleport system-Every time you gain a new save point you can travel to ones past

This is my project I hope you guys like it, the story is getting edited a bit and will be fixed soon. If you would like to help out PM me, I'm looking for mappers and spriters as  of now. Thanks for taking a look.:D

Amnesia...  Can nothing be more cliche then this?  Also you should maybe say why his father was so strong that he was able to hold off-although for a short time-someone who eats towns.  Also, how come after being struck with amnesia the kid was able to remember everything after some native told him everything?  (I question where the hell was this guy when his dad and brother got captured.)  Also, why capture the dad and brother but not the other?  Are those two special but the other not?  Too many questions raised, in the end.  :/

The screens don't really tell me much and the story doesn't stand out too much.

And about the title, couldn't you just make it "Shadow Chronicles: The Rise of Shadows" instead of adding the japanese word for shadow in it and then suddenly change back to english?

I love how you have a narrative from the main character explaining all the events pre-amnesia, including getting amnesia. (Sarcasm) What I'm actually getting at is -- is that narrative being told from the characters perspective after being told or figuring out he has amnesia and finding out about all the past events?

Overall, doesn't sound like a bad game. You almost had me thinking we'd be playing as the bad guy. I won't label anything "cliche" as it's a term that gets threw around rather loosely. I will say that you have some classic elements intertwined in your story, such as: vengeance, loss, and villainous insanity. This could very well turn out to be an interesting project.

Not much to say on the screenshots. Your interior designs are a bit boring, but keep at it.

I know the story raises questions but its still in the editing stage and the other maps are getting worked on i should have more to show next week.

As for playing the bad guy you'll just have to wait and see...
