Learn hotkeys. The pen gives me awful cramps because of the way I hold pencils, and pressing buttons with it just doesn't cut. but hotkeys also exponentiate your speed at drawing.
Just keep drawing with it, it just becomes second nature like a stylus.
Oh, right. When I got my tablet the first advice ever given to me, and currently the most accurate and useful is that the tablet does not make you better as an artist. You need to know what you're doing on paper to know what you're doing on the computer.

That includes color. Which you, from that picture you posted, don't have the faintest grasp.
Dodge and burn? More like... you need to learn.
Don't smudge to shade, don't dodge and burn (which is also black and white). Use different hues, it'll look less unnatural. Skin has something called subsurface scattering. Skin is naturally partially translucent, when light hits the skin, the skin absorbs but the light is refracted under the skin, which makes the skin look red when you shade. Red, not black.

Looking better but you need more of a subtle change in tone.
You're using photoshop?
I'll give you my brush settings.
-80 opacity 80 flow for putting down base colors
-40 opacity 50 flow for putting in shades and things
-20 opacity 20 flow for blending colors
The only real keys I alternate between are: B, E, [], and ALT
b=Brush tool
E=Eraser
[]= Makes brush bigger or smaller
ALT=Color picker that ways you can get those nice mid tones in between.
Although you have to mind my shitty ass 3 minute paint over. Of course thats how I go about it. You just really gotta practice with colors and find a coloring style that you like.
Oh yeah if you don't like me painting over your stuff then tell me and I'll take it down.
But yeah like Des said the face doesn't match the body at all. The body is okay but it seems like you didn't really try with the face. :/
Keep at it mate though my first drawings with my tablet were complete shit you'll get better. :thumb:

By the way, I think the main reason I mainly have a problem with anatomy is because I often have trouble coming up with poses... Usually I find myself just starting with parts of the character and randomly adding the other parts in positions without thinking about them first...
Thats generally how I go about drawing. Thats the point of an initial sketch. I go through so many poses just to finally decide on the most cliche one. :/ and well if you're decent on paper just practice more and more. This was my first tablet drawing
Sorry to say this but those faces are downright hideous. Well not entirely. But they aren't as great as they should be. I thin kits partially because they use a minimalistic approach [[very minimum at that]] as to the rest of the drawing. Sorry to tell you this my friend but you need to work on your faces more than anything now.
No, its crappy drawn face manga. See how that works? It being manga doesn't excuse badly drawn faces.
Dont' get style confused with ability or skill. Phil Foglio (google him if you don't know) draws in a cartoony style of way, but his lines, his proportions, his understanding of physical properties and volume and shape shows that he's a professional.
Artists know how to draw the real before they can draw the unreal.
I'll say it right now, the drawings look fly swatted and flat. The only way to cure that is with more practice of real people and stuff.
....It's kind of weird.....
because I found it is girl, but her body looks like a man.
even girls with muscles didn't have body shape like that.....
and her hair shapes are too weird.
I don't think you have an understanding of what "bad" and "manga" is. The fact of the matter is that just because you give it big eyes, little noses and small mouth doesn't automatically make it "anime" or a face for that matter. As Shadow stated [[thank goodness he did as well]] the faces need lots of work. Among other things. Realistic or not a face needs to follow some sort of principle or at least show an understanding of how the face is constructed. Or hell just match the damn style of the rest of the drawing!
