Just A Normal Question.

I was considering to maker an event allowing you to choose you character and battler graphic. I have been trying to figure this out with the event commands. I have been trying basically i thinking of ways to do that type of thing. I trying to find a why how to let the use see the character and battler graphics. Like lets say
I do come up with the thing( technically saying not for real) The player chooses From 001-Fighter01 to 002-Fighter02. That type of thing. I searched the site using the search command. If Some one does come up with a Answer respond to this thread.

I think he would also like the player to be able to view a graphical representation of the choices, prior to choosing.

A simple way to do this would be to just insert a show picture command prior to your Show Choice command, and have it flash a custom graphic that shows all of your labeled choices side by side.

You would add a line to remove the picture after the choice branches.

This would save you the hassle of actually creating a new menu.

As far as calling all of this up, you would do it by way of a common event. The event could be activated by an item in your inventory, or through a map event (like a clothing shop or something).

Good luck.

For the characters, I did this once by using individual events that looked like statues (grayscale versions of the char set).
The player uses the action button on the event to select which character, the player graphic changes, and the events
change to another page so they're no longer selectable.

For the battlers, You could edit the images into portraits on a wall, and use the same event logic.
