JunY JunO - Game of RPG Maker XP style 3D!!!

Based on the Nordic Mythology, JunY JunO is more a game of RPG Maker XP developed for the Mhage Studios.

HISTORY

"June, hundreds of years ago among the space, technology and the past, Princess Juno, heir to Razard, ally of Odin and princess of all Gravity was a step to be the new queen with the death of his ordered me Lineora, sentenced to death by Valquiria. Away betrayed the worst possible way for his younger sister Alishe, and your faithful coast guard recruiter and souls of warriors and nano-technological Lenny to take the throne in place of Princess Juno, which was played in the dungeon of Outluck and therefore confined in any body of a mortal, that Lenny always trained their warriors now in a phase of confrontation between the final races divine Aesir and Vanir, was punished by Odin to which always entrusted both, and now as price of such puniço have to betray Alishe and release Juno and the dungeon of his body, before Odin no more trust in their services so that this Aesir and Vanir defeat war of races. "

There are about 10 worlds in JunY Juno, including Gravity single unreal world of Nordic mythology that includes the game, they are the Ã
 
You've posted some of the same information again in your first post.

I kind of find the combo of pixel art and 3D looking very weird. In fact, it practically clashes.
 
Again, what Ratty said. The art style is very inconsistent, and doesn't look all that great. Either use all drawn art, or all pixel art for better results. The 3d looks strangely implemented to me.
Why are there robots in a fantasy-styled game?

Based off of the story and description, this sounds pretty hard to pull off. Kudos to you if you can do it, but I expect to see this discontinued sometime, or at least modified. No offense, pal.
 
So... this is like nordic mythology in space? Thats an awesome concept =] though I think the way you've arranged your map/ menu would grate after a while.

I can see that you took images from preixisting videogames and tried to simply paste 2D onto them.

I don't like it.

There aren't many sprites for XP that would go decently with a 3D background. With a limited selection, it's obvious that they would have to rely on videogame sprites. Even in classic videogames, there are very few that would match what Mhage is trying to accomplish. That means that they can either make custom sprites (very difficult) or use videogame sprites from games such as Star Ocean, Tales of Phantasia, or what they actually used, Secret of Mana.

Actually I knew from the beginning that some would wring the nose when the fact JunY JunO be Pre 3D and others would like.

Well actually I wanted to make a game that had a good plot to which used to own Mythology Nordic for this, but not be arrested to a single dimension or even characters, so I ate JunY JunO tries to innovate a bit and even use only what is best for the Mythology Nordic in his plot, without being arrested rest of this mythology.

Thanks BlueChaos BlueChaos by the commentary, I am thinking about how to improve and better polish the 3D images so that it is more uniform to the game.

Actually the context of Mythology Nordic in space makes the game more unique, beyond proprio Menu of access rapido which resembles more a MMORPG.


Well no more excuse for my poor Ingês and thanks to all comments about JunY JunO, I hope to launch soon as a Demo of JJ now in English.
 
It isn't that bad an idea but you could try to make the sprites more suited to the 3D-iness.  The art on his title reminds me of Sword of Mana.

I'm talking about the backgrounds themselves.

And using sprites from pre-existing videogames isn't going to change anything.

There's stuff there from FF3DS, Ogre Battle 64, one of the PSX FFs, I dunno which, rpgmaker 2003 stuff, RMXP Stuff... damn.
 
It is a big clash of 3d and 2d styles.

but if you were to make it an 8 directional movement with sprites

each direction.

It could bring back some nostalgic memories from the original grandia.

I can't even tell what's going on in this.  You've got graphics from Jet Force Gemini and Ogre Battle and... it just looks horrible.  Why are the two letters in juny juno randomly capitalized?

Look, if you want to use backdrops as maps you have to understand perspective I.E. things get bigger the closer they come to the screen.  As it is, the perspective of your randomly ripped vidya gaym maps are off and they totally clash with the sprites.
