Wow, that was very nice, Koji!

I really liked the music! Especially the song that played during Almond's introduction.

I'm assuming that there're some scenes missing, which introduce some of the characters. I mean, when Weiss talks to Quilti, it's obvious that he had met her prior to that scene. Or maybe, you wanted it like that?

You made great use of sound effects. I liked the stepping sounds. Although, perhaps you should use a different sound effect, when someone steps on carpeting? It's not that big of a deal, at all, just me being nitpicky, I guess.

Now you've got me all hyped up, for this game! Where's that demo? Need demo. RAWR!

But, seriously, nice work. I'm looking forward to the next update.  ;)

Awesome Bro

I've recently been privy to a new demo of this game, and dear lord it rocks hard!

Probably one of the most original games I've seen in my time here, it's something you'll love to play again and again. Lumy, I'm sure if you ask him in chat, he'll send you somewhere...nice! :)
 
I like the wonderful and unique concept you put in there! I think you've got the story well planned but maybe you should "organize" the whole thing; Since you put it into 3 different episodes maybe you should fine tune each one as you go about?

[P.S - From what I've heard from others the sound effects are pretty cool eh;)]
 
Sorry everyone for the slow reply from me. I read all the comments whenever they were posted, however I just didn't want to bump the topic up until I got some solid game update to show too.

@Nemesis: Yea, I will probably have to organize stuff when everything is done and all - but that won't be happening anytime soon.
About the sound effects, all I can say is, you will just have to try the coming demo to determine whether they are really that cool. haha

@Luminier: Indeed, there were some actual missing scenes, but not involving Quilti actually.
The player will take control of Weiss five days after his 'enrollment' into the academy. What happened within those previous days is up to player's speculation at the moment. Including the part about meeting Quilti.

And the different sound of carpet... darn, you are just being too nitpicky.  ;D

This looks pretty awesome and i'm glad you're still working on it. When I saw that the first post was made in November I was like "Damn, dude probably disappeared and some random noobs bumped this", but good thing that's not the case.
 
An art theme is definitely very interesting. This game has potential just because of that, but you seem to be designing it well too.

I like the custom art alot, and the palette idea for the menu is nice. I would suggest changing the hp/sp bars however, because the texture doesn't really fit with the palette in my opinion.
