Jokuer (GeoX) workshop of...... stuff

Anyway since I wanted to start spriteing again the only logical thing on my list was start a workshop.
Currently I'm working with breeze character sprites and at some point I may broaden my horizons to Animations and tile sets. But until I'm that good I'll stick with what I got.

Ok, I'm stuck on this one as I don't know how to do the hair, the bang gets me, I cant figure it out exactly.

No where. I am just asking. It is a compliment. He doesn't have to mister mod. I am innocent I swear! I just have always kinda liked the breeze style and since he did one of his avatar, I thought I would ask him to do one of mine. Just wanting to try out the breeze style, thats all.

Edit: Okay, I will analyze it then. Calm down. I really like the one of Sero(sp?) But I think it is that piece of hair that that is making him so hard to finish. are you going for a messy kind of hair, or are you trying to make it stick up like yugi off of yu-gi-oh?

His hair is just spiky and multi colored, dyed under the red on the bottom

and when i get a better concept of things, I could work on the sprite you want me to do

EDIT: Ok I quickly drew up a preview of a sprite, my only problem spriting is the hair...... other than that I would be fine, so now I got two hair issues, one is a bang, and this one just bothers me.

Yeah, I tried spriting once. They were all pretty good except for the hair. A person who could really help you on the hair is Venetia, Showkaizer, or Green Raven. (maybe if I put their names on this topic they will look at it! :wink I can't find anything wrong with the clothes

But im gonna get serious about it this time.

EDIT: Ideas flow out my drawings but I cant really pull them off to my liking until I'm more experienced.
Anyway new character example, the bandanna shading is something I'm working on, but the knot befuzzles me....

Try using a larger pallete (with more shades) when you shade.
