Have any of you ever studied what alchohol does to the brain? For those of you who haven't, let me say something: alchohol has more power than people give it credit for. It's wreaks havoc with your mental processes when you have imbibed too much, and, even if you don't believe me, it makes you do very stupid things. Try looking up some of the dumb things people have done while they were drunk, and you'll see a lot worse than what Des just did. Honesltly, you'll see murder, rape (Of and by both sexes, even of family members as close as a sibling or parent/child) and many things that you don't want to think about. (Ever heard of wood chippers, hurricane parties, etc?)(Yes, wood chippers have really been used as a murder weapon)(Hurricane parties are where people would party on the beach in places like Florida when a hurricane was coming in. They kept going on for years, because no one ever survived to tell others not to do it) Anyway, I hope Des can get past this difficult point in his life, and move on, becasue he certainly could use a little bit of help.

I believe the word it inhibitions. Alchohol removes a lot of inhibitions, and becaue of that, sane people can do skme pretty crazy things when they are seriously drunk. (Mostly becasue they stop thinking about what will happen if they do something, or if it is OK to do something, and just do it) On a side note, I've never had alchohol in my life, so I can't relate the effects from a personal perspective.
