Despite my being a constant fixture here for the past 3-4 years, I think our time has come to an end. I was a member, I was a mod, I was a g-mod, I was an admin, and I was an ex-staff. I went through all the rungs of leadership and I feel satisfied with my time here.

I'll pop around occasionally, but I just don't feel the connection with the community that I used to ... and since I'm dependable in posting daily, I wanted to mention that I am going to be sparse, maybe gone, from here on out.

Everyone who knows me and cares knows how to contact me. I don't keep up with chat apps or anything, but you can always email me at venetia [@] hbgames [dot] org. I'm bad about replying to shit but I will make a real effort. To the few who have my phone number, you're always free to call or text me.

Everyone who knows me and cares knows what I'd tell them personally as a send-off. So I'll leave it implied and unsaid.

I love you guys; I love this site. Don't let this place burn down without me. I put in too much work to come back sometime in the future and see it gone to shit.

I miss a lot of members which have come and gone, and I've begun to taper back all activity outside of the social boards. Even there, it doesn't feel the way it used to. It's rather sad for me in a very strange and indescribable way. I hope you keep in touch though, you're one of my super all-time favorites ever with applesauce.

I don't really know what to say, but that seems kind of typical for me! If you don't feel like staying around then nobody can change your mind. You've put a helluva lot of work into this site and have done more than anybody ever asked for. You helped keep this site alive.

Damn, this is a terrible loss for the site. I hope you can reconnect with the community someday, but if not, well, I'll miss you, and I know everyone else will too.
