I'm extremely new at scripting, to be totally honest. I don't know the majority of the terminology and am only learning through tedious trial-and-error. What is good is that I know, for the most part, exactly what I want to flesh out my game, make it more than a simple turn-based-combat RPG.
Dargor's Limit Break system. No problem with installation, but I'm a bit confused. I like Limit Breaks, but Overdrives are odd...maybe just because I never played FFX. But either way, I want a way to turn off the Overdrives, making it so that the character learns Limit Breaks like one does in FF7...based on kills or experience, occasionally learned through items or sidequests. Also, maybe I am not understanding the directions, but when I reached Limit in a new game I started to test the script, there were no Limit Breaks listed - I assume I am to assign skills to those positions, but I do not know how.
I didn't want to überbump any of the threads, so that's why this topic exists. Thanks to anyone who can/does help me, I appreciate it greatly.
