Is this any good?

I was just poking around paint due to i don't have Photo shop and came up with this sword icon. What should i change about it or should I keep it the way it is?

looks very nice.. quite realistic. keep it the way it is in my opinion... unless of course you can't continue the same style.. but if you can keep the style consistent, then keep it, nice work

Holy crap. That icon is the bomb, man. I would recommend doing a lot of those. [having just one in that style would look wierd] Try making a 20 piece set of that style :D

Thanks I'll try to make a bastard sword with a little rustic look to the blade.
tho to me this was a fluke that it came out this great guess I should try a dagger after the bastard sword.

Ok major update here
these shield icons I resized are taken from Ijji.com site for there lvl for each person so i thought they would make great shield icons. So credit that site, before you credit me on the resizing of the icons.

well it was suppose to be a rusty dagger but I guess it turned out to be a dagger used by a dark person or monster. but these are my first icons that I've done from scratch so bare with me on them.

Ok this is an update.
I'm going to hold off on making the bastard sword and other weapon icons like the past ones I did. Reason being is that I'm currently getting Photo Shop and I'll be working on the icons through that instead of paint. So if a Mod could close this thread till I can return with more updated material.

You just resized that sword didn't you? It looks in no way similar to your other actual pixel art. Also, did you notice how everyone was all "Wow you're awesome." Until you posted some actual pixel art, then you see their real side. :P

Yeah he couldnt of made that if you blow up that image it is no way similar to the so called blown up image he posted but if you resize the so caleld blown up image it looks just like the icon so yeah im saying he found a pic of that sword and resized it.

@noobo yes it is free to use.
@everyone else I will begin to work on more advanced weaponry, also as a small "hint-hint" icons will not be the only things i'll be doing in that style. That's right i'm bumping up to Sprite Sets so look for any new advancements in my work.
