Is there a way i can use RMXp on a school computer? - Rediscussion

look what the guy asked is how he could use RMXP? That bug he's having is because it's probably windows vista he's using. I don't see anything Illegal in there.

FF12_Master was asking how to disable the program from checking the license. This is a 'crack', and is illegal.

If Vista is the issue, then he would have to install the program as Administrator. If he does not have Administrator
privileges at school (and I would expect he doesn't), he is S.O.L.  (unless he can con an admin into installing for him.)

We could probably get into a long drawn out debate as to whether RMXP on a school computer is for educational purposes, or just for 'goofing off', but that's not really up to us, so we won't.

The crux of the biscuit is:  He didn't ask how to install the program on Vista, he asked how to crack it.
If he wants to rephrase his question, he can use the "Report to moderator" link, and we'll happily re-open his topic.

i didnt see the word crack? he says he gets an error when trying to execute the program. It's his problem if he wants to use it in school or not. Anyway, I bought my XP maker and it didnt work on vista so I had to get a cracked version for it to work and it did.

Uh, most school computers don't use vista.  Hell, most colleges still use XP.  At least mine does.
