Is there a "scroll" command?

Alright so, I'm attempting to event a character selection screen, and something I was hoping to do is have "Select Character" scrolling horizontally along the top and bottom of the screen. What can I do to have this repeatedly scroll along the screen?

Well, you could make the Select Character text a picture and then use the Move Picture command on the 2nd page of the event commands.
This is for Rmxp btw, I don't know if Vx has that option too.

I understand how to do "Show Picture" and "Move Picture" my question is regarding more along the lines of there being an easy command where the picture continuously scrolls across the page, or if I have to set up a process that has it move, get to a point, and then direct appoint to the other side of the screen so it repeats itself. Because that would just suck ass if I have to do it that way.

if I have to set up a process that has it move, get to a point, and then direct appoint to the other side of the screen so it repeats itself.

This is probably your best bet, a simple parallel process event that moves the picture to a place and then repeats.
But then again, I'm not that great of an eventer so perhaps someone else knows of a better way, a script perhaps...

moving a picture from 0 to 640 and then showing it at (0 - width) and back again doesn't exactly seem that complicated. you can script it easily with the plane class, if you want to get into scripting.
