who the hell is the guy with the whips? i've never seen any of the iron man comics or shows.. i don't know who iron man's enemies are at all.

Mickey Rourke is playing "Whiplash" supposedly an amalgamation of Crimson Dynamo and another character. I think because Iron Man's rogue's gallery isn't as well established as say Batman, Superman or Spider-Man they can feel free to invent a new villain.

From my nerdy research I hear the Mandarin may be the third movie's villain. Like the Emperor, manipulating things behind the scenes then coming out in the third movie and shovin' lightning bolts up yo' ass!

iron man is pretty cool but his enemies are rather gay/racially motivated

Yeah I reckon he'll be more Middle Eastern now given they're "the enemy" now. Also in the first film they had "The Ten Rings" terrorist organization.

I saw the first Iron Man movie and it was pretty decent. It had an interesting story, in my opinion, and the ideas behind the technology was intriguing. From that trailer, it looks like it's going to lack any real storyline besides "beat NEW EVIL BAD DUDE", but I guess it's hard to tell from just one trailer. :\ I think it would have been better if they just left it at the first movie instead of trying to make a sequel but whatever.

Man I hate RD Jr. but he TOTALLY KILLED his role, I thought he was a perfect Tony Stark. The acting and writing was pretty excellent in the first one, which is more than what I can say for Marvel films.

But yeah, loved the first one, will def. see this one.

honestly.. i don't see how a guy with a limited ranged attack can be such a big problem for ironman... just sit there and shoot repulsor beams at him from the air. wtf is he going to do then? whine and cry. this movie might be gay :-/
