The Sun says that the ripper is either
1. A guy who both adires and despises women
2. Somone vying for media atention/immortality
3. Some guy trying to pull off the perfect crime.

I'll trus the sun when they STOP putting somewhat impotant articles about tax etc on page 5 after all the Big Brother coverage, and that's saying something: my dad works for the sun.

Personally, i think it's either a holy man of somesort, killing them because they are hookers, or (and it get's a little strange) Jack the Ripper. Assuming he's the same as Spring heeled jack.

Holy man? :-/ The reason serial killers focus on prostitutes so much is because they are so vulnerable.

At a youth club in the town centre, teenagers Teila Fair and Louie Barrett had little sympathy with the prostitutes.
Teila, 16, said the murders had come as a shock and had reminded her and her friends of the terrible consequences of dabbling in drugs.

Little sympathy? What's wrong with them?

BREAKING NEWS: Did you hear they have arrested somebody that was a client of each of them and one was murdered near to his house and he said he felt like one of the women, so they may have caught the killer?

A 48-year-old man has been charged with murdering five women whose bodies were found in countryside near Ipswich.

Stephen Wright was arrested on Tuesday morning at his home in the London Road area of the town.

He has been charged with murdering prostitutes Gemma Adams, 25, Anneli Alderton, 24, Tania Nicol, 19, Paula Clennell, 24, and Annette Nicholls, 29.

The first man arrested, Tom Stephens, 37, has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

'Ongoing investigations'

Detectives said Mr Wright would appear before magistrates in Ipswich on Friday morning.

Det Ch Supt Stewart Gull said: "You will be aware that on Monday 18 December, as part of our investigation into the murders of five women in the Ipswich area, we arrested a suspect at his home address in Trimley.

"The next day, Tuesday 19 December, a second suspect was arrested in Ipswich.

"There have been significant ongoing inquiries and interviews during the period that these men have been in custody.

"As a result of these inquiries, the 37-year-old man from Trimley was this evening released on police bail pending further inquiries.

"The second man, Stephen Wright, from Ipswich, has been charged with the murder of all five women."

Michael Crimp, of the Crown Prosecution Service, said: "We've made the decision that there is sufficient evidence and authorised that Stephen Wright, born on 24 April 1958, of London Road, Ipswich, should be charged with the murders of Tania Nicol, Gemma Adams, Anneli Alderton, Annette Nicholls, and Paula Clennell.

"We will continue to keep this case under constant review as it develops.

"Mr Wright will be kept in custody to appear before Ipswich magistrates court."
