Installing RMXP Without internet

I go to school pretty much every other day and I can download the program but when i go to install it on my home computer (which has no internet), i can't because it needs a trial number. is there any offline installer that comes packed with a trial number or do i have to take my computer somewhere and hook it up?

You can only install the software on a PC connected to the internet because it has to validate the key.

You have to buy the trial number, it's like a cd code on a game but the cd is free and the code costs money.
So you can get the trial version anywhere, offline, online, anywhere, you just cant pay for the full version without an internet connection.

No, actually you can't even use the trial without the internet. It needs to validate the trial key online, but you onley need to be connected to activate the trial and to purchase the product. After that it doesn't matter.

It has bothered me that you need internet to activate RMXP and yet they have not listed internet connection as a requirement on the website.

Anyway... If you have bought RMXP legally and lack of internet connection on your own computer is the only thing preventing you from using the product then you might be legally allowed to circumvent (say crack) the copy-protection on RMXP.

I suggest you look up how the laws are on this matter in your country.

Chances are i'll just take my computer over to a friends house and install it there...
