Imported Graphic

When I imported a suggested graphic, whenever he's on the screen there is a white box surrounding him. How do I remove the white box?

When you are importing a graphics, you can set a transparent & semi-transparent colors.

re-import it and set the surrounding white to "transparent".

use the search botton

HELP part of his head is transparent now. I can't make it untransparent and I want to make it a color. What do I do??

EDIT: Can someone just show a step-by step process of importing a suggested graphic? This way the graphic wil come out cleanly. And nahchito, those insturctions were too vague, it didn't work.

Select Tools > Material Base.  On the left hand column highlight "Graphics: Characters", and then select the Import button.  Find the files you wish to import, and highlight them, select okay.

You will be presented with a screen of your resource, you will have two boxes below it to show you your  transparent color and Semi-Transparent color.  Left click on background color, to set it.  This color will now be transparent.  Right clicking on a color will set it to a semi-transparent, which is mostly used for shadows and the like.  If your graphic is poorly done, or has antialiasing, you will have to clean it up using an art program so these two sections (background, or anything semi-transparent), are a unified color.

If this doesn't work, and there are still tiny dots all around the graphic, it's probably because the background is made up of many different colors similar to white. There's no workaround except to go into an image-editing program and delete every annoying little pixel. That's anti-aliasing :/
